Slow Market before U.S Election

 
Below, you can see the North Kona Median Price and Sold Qty changes, month by month, for the last two years. The Red line is the Median Price, and the Blue line is the Sold Qty. It is not unusual to see slowdowns in the market from August to December, and it is evident that Condo Sold Qty has been declining for a few months.

Here’s a look at the October results and 2024 YTD for the North Kona Residential and North Kona Condos. Overall, the residential median price decreased, yet the sold quantity increased over last year. Condo median prices have increased, and the sold quantity is showing a downtrend.

North Kona Median Price Increases in the Residential and Condo Markets

There has been a drastic price increase since 2019. The Residential median price has almost doubled, and Condo prices have increased by 66% since 2019.
