The holiday season is upon us and there are many events and activities planned. Here are a few suggestions for happenings to get you into the holiday spirit:

-Sunday, December 8, enjoy the Kailua Kalikimaka Holiday Concert featuring Amy Hānaiali`i from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm in Emma Square. Save your spot and watch the 9th   Annual Lighted Boat Parade in Kailua Bay at 6:00 pm. The Body Glove boat will be docked at Kailua Pier for great viewing, with food and beverages for purchase.

-Saturday, December 14, 5:00 pm, bring the keiki down to Ali`I Drive in Kailua-Kona and enjoy the “Magical Storybook Christmas” parade. Floats, marching units and fun for the whole family.

-Saturday, December 21, The Nutcracker Ballet as performed by the West Hawaii Dance Theatre will enchant audiences with Tchaikovsky’s melodies, Hoffmann's timeless themes, exciting guest professional dancers, ever-evolving creative choreography and participation by our local community. The performances at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm are being held at Kahilu Theatre in Waimea. More details at
